Ease into the ways of being that foster restoration, peace and joy! This course provides you with the opportunity to observe communities of practice whose culture promote well-being. Through this experience you will learn to:
- Define and identify essential elements of restoration.
- Build new knowledge about sites of wellness and sustainability.
- Foster a Green Paradise mindset through the restoration activities.
- Explore well-being communities' traits.
- Become familiar with course instructors, facilitators, and sites for the restoration event in Grenada.
This course prepares you for your physical journey to the island of Grenada, commonly known as pure Grenada, where you will deepen your Green Paradise mindset and restore your self through connection and community.
What you will learn
I developed this course to move beyond the theoretical concepts of retreating and reconnecting to that of restoration. This course is designed to prepare you for traveling to specially selected sites for well-being and restoration.
Here you will learn how to find spaces which promote daily well-being and to inculcate the practices that provide a better quality of life.

Caroline Henry brings a rich blend of hands-on experience and academic prowess to her role as an educator in wellbeing, sustainable living and eco-conscious practices. With a decade of experience in reflective practices complemented by a Ph.D. degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Caroline has established herself as a dedicated torchbearer for the green learning and living. Her career has seen her collaborate with grassroots initiatives, teach educators across the US and Caribbean about reflective practices and lead community outreach programs aimed at fostering a more harmonious relationship between humans and the natural world.
As the architect of the "Introduction to Green Paradise Mindset" course, Caroline has woven together her passion for ecological balance with her commitment to education. Her teaching extends beyond just imparting knowledge; it’s about inspiring a transformative journey within each student. Caroline's personal investment in a greener future is evident in her interactive teaching style, where students are encouraged to discover and nurture their connection with the environment.
